Premier Village Danang: Can One Villa Hold the Whole Family?

This is a villa estate on the southern stretch of Vo Nguyen Giap with the sand along one edge. The room names tell you the layout — some villas are “ocean access”, others garden view. The airport is 5.7km away, about a 14-minute drive, so arrival and departure days stay usable.

“My Khe Beach 1.82km” is not the distance to the water. The sand is directly outside the villas; that figure is the distance to the point Agoda pins as My Khe Beach. The useful reading is “1.82km to the restaurants and shops of the My Khe strip” — it changes nothing about your beach day and everything about dinner. Guest reviews describe reaching town by ride-hail without difficulty.

Han Market at 4.6km says the same thing. Add the Han River swing bridge at 4.18km, the Dragon Bridge 3.44km, DHC Marina 3.32km and the railway station 5.67km. Properties at the northern end of the strip are 2.8–3km from Han Market, so town from here is always a car ride — while the airport, at 14 minutes, is no further than from the north end. On this strip the variable is the city, not the airport. The nearest hospital is 630m away.

Agoda gives it a location score of 9.4, which appears to reflect the private beach and airport access rather than walkability. The estate is also large enough that reviews repeatedly mention calling a buggy to reach breakfast or the pool — worth knowing if anyone in the group walks slowly or you are travelling with luggage.

Rooms & occupancy

Every unit is a villa with a private pool, and there are only 111 of them. The resort was built in 2014, renovated in 2021 and is managed by Accor. For a five-star property that unit count is small, which is why it stays quieter than the big resorts.

The lineup runs one to four bedrooms, but at the same bedroom count Garden View and Ocean Access are not the same villa. Garden View is listed at about 240㎡ for one bedroom, 270㎡ for two, 300㎡ for three and 330㎡ for four. Ocean Access runs about 300㎡, 330㎡, 360㎡ and 390㎡ across the same counts — one step larger throughout. A four-bedroom beachfront villa is listed at about 511㎡.

Bed configuration matters more than the label. A Garden View three-bedroom is listed with four singles or one double; an Ocean Access three-bedroom with three doubles. Three couples and a family with several children want opposite answers here, and searching for “3 bedrooms” will not surface that difference.

Reviews describe five adults and four children in a four-bedroom villa, and parties of eight or nine in a single unit. Read the full room name, then confirm maximum occupancy and bed setup on the booking screen. Children aged 6–11 stay free under the property’s stated policy.

Facilities

There is a private beach, a private pool with every villa, an outdoor pool and poolside bar, 24-hour room service, a 24-hour fitness centre, a spa, a yoga room, gardens, a library, a games room and a minimart, plus airport transfer service and currency exchange.

With children there is a kids zone and kids club, a children’s pool and a playground. Reviews mention the shared pool being divided by depth so swimming and paddling can happen at once, and garden BBQs are available.

Breakfast is buffet, à la carte and continental, and being good is one of the more consistent points in the reviews. Some rate plans exclude it, so confirm inclusion rather than assuming. Dinner splits opinion — some were happy eating in, others preferred to arrange food from outside.

The drawbacks come from the size of the estate. Reviews describe waiting for a buggy on most movements, and a post-checkout luggage counter that sits outdoors and would be awkward in rain. Sockets and voltage not matching travel appliances comes up more than once. And as a villa resort, the lobby and the buffet are smaller in scale than a hotel-format property.

Compared & alternatives

If you want hotel rooms and villas on the same shortlist, Furama Resort Danang runs both formats on this same southern stretch. It opened in 1997 and was last renovated in 2013, so the age profile is different.

If city access comes first, Altara Suites Danang is on the northern end of the strip with Han Market 3km away and kitchens in some three-bedroom suites. No private beach there.

For large-resort facilities, Melia Danang Beach is much bigger, but it sits on the Non Nuoc stretch with Han Market 9.29km out.

Bottom line

If you need three or four separate bedrooms, Da Nang does not offer many options and this is one of them. The 2021 renovation and a 14-minute airport transfer both help on a compressed itinerary.

Check three things before booking: bedroom count, whether it is Ocean Access or Garden View, and the bed configuration inside it. The same “three-bedroom” comes as four singles or three doubles, so the right answer changes with who is sharing. Rates move with dates and occupancy.
