Location & getting around

The property stands at the northern end of the My Khe beach strip: a 33-storey tower on the coast road itself (Vo Nguyen Giap). The beach is 70m away — across the road, and reviewers describe the sea as being straight opposite. It is not a private stretch, though; the property lists no private beach section.

The My Khe restaurant strip is a separate 1.06km away. The sand is on your doorstep; dinner is not. Reviews make the same point — quick by car, an awkward walk. Quiet is the upside, walking out in the evening is the downside.

Towards the city it is 3km to Han Market, 3.93km to the railway station, 2.36km to DHC Marina, 2.52km to the Han River swing bridge and 2.7km to the cathedral. At 3km, Han Market is at the close end for a Da Nang beach stay — resorts on the southern part of the same strip sit around 4.5km out.

The airport is 5.33km, about 16 minutes, which is marginally longer than those southern resorts at 14–15 minutes. Along My Khe the airport is not what separates properties; city access is. For everyday errands a VinMart is 1.17km away and the nearest clinic 1.32km. Agoda’s location score is 8.5.

Rooms & occupancy

There are 95 units and every one is a suite — a small count for a five-star tower, which keeps the corridors quiet.

Sizes run Peace Suite one-bedroom at about 60㎡, Bliss Suite one-bedroom about 65㎡, Harmony Suite two-bedroom about 80㎡, Serenity two-bedroom (king plus queen, or king twin) about 90㎡, Zen Suite two-bedroom about 100㎡, Altara Suite two-bedroom about 130㎡, and the three-bedroom Altara Suite about 180㎡. Floor area rises with bedroom count, so a larger party still gets a living room rather than beds pushed into one space.

For families the deciding detail is bathrooms. Reviews repeatedly mention two bathrooms in the two-bedroom layouts, which removes the morning queue, and describe using the washer and dryer. One review mentions cooking in the kitchen. Kitchens and washers vary by room type, so read the full room name and check inclusions on the booking screen.

One caveat on views: several reviews mention looking onto a construction site. If an ocean view is the reason you are booking, ask about floor and orientation first. Children aged 6–11 stay free under the property’s stated policy.

Facilities

There is a pool, a fitness centre, a sauna, a steam room, a bar and lounge, a restaurant and a buffet breakfast. Parking is free, check-in is 2pm and checkout is noon.

A lot gets solved inside the building. Reviews mention a minimart on the third floor stocking Korean groceries, a rooftop pool that children used, and showering in the sauna before an evening flight — though one of those reviews notes the shower area was short on towels. With a late departure and hours to fill, that combination is genuinely useful.

Two things to weigh. First, the lifts are the single most repeated complaint: three of them serve 33 floors, and several reviews describe waiting at busy times. Second, breakfast divides opinion — some reviewers are happy with it, others mention the menu rotating between two options and getting repetitive over a longer stay.

At 95 units the facilities themselves are not resort-scale. If you pictured several pools and multiple dining outlets, this is a different category of property.

Compared & alternatives

Even inside the My Khe strip the answers differ. If you want the restaurant strip closer on foot, Risemount Premier Resort Danang sits 650m from the beach and 2.83km from Han Market — further north again, though not beachfront.

If you need a private beach in front of the property, that is the southern end: Furama Resort Danang and Premier Village Danang. The trade is Han Market at 4.5km-plus.

For resort-scale facilities, Melia Danang Beach is much larger, but it sits on the Non Nuoc stretch with Han Market 9.29km away.

Bottom line

“Sand in one minute, city in ten, kitchen and washer in the room” is a narrow brief in Da Nang, and this is one of the few properties that meets all of it. It earns its keep on stays of four nights or more, and with children whose meals you would rather handle yourself.

It is the wrong choice if the plan is never to leave the grounds — there is no private beach and the facilities are not built for that. Before booking, confirm three things in the room name: bedroom count, whether a kitchen and washer are included, and the floor and orientation. Rates move with dates and occupancy.
